Overview of my ICT Semester.

                     My Semester in ICT.

Is it really as good the say it is? Let's find out... 

Lets have a look at my semester.

Week 2&3

At the start of term 1 we learnt how to manage our files and folders we also learnt how to name them. It was kind of boring, but it came in handy.

We also discovered typing.com! We started off with a Cyber Safety course. We learned how to keep our accounts and our identity safe.

We then made a Kahoot about Cyber Safety, just to make sure we knew what we were doing, hahaha. 

Week 4

Basic Document Layout - Using Word.

in week 4 we were practicing Headings and Copy & Paste.

Everything we found and did was in the Pronto Book.~

We copied "Glitters" and "Brown Kiwi" but we made it better! :) (well some of us did) Hahahha

We also did "Liam Jackson" but it was already on our computer files, we had to fix all the spelling errors and make it look more professional.

Week 5

I was not at school when we did this.

Week 6

In week 6 we were learning how to replace bullet  points with different images and other symbols and how to access those other symbols.

This was quite helpful as it adds character to what we are doing. Because it isn't just boring old normal bullet points.

Week 7 & 8

In week 7&8 we were drawing on Word. We made our drawings with shapes.

Sadly my boat that I made didn't save on the computer :( but I promise I did it! Even ask Mr. Carter.

But I will show you the tools we used.

 

Week 9

In week 9 we re wrote Easter recipes. 

In the recipes we had to change the layout, add pictures, and fix the spelling errors.

Week 10 & 11

In week 10 & 11 we did Basic Designs.

We had to do 6 documents!

3 Kids eat free and 3 Disney ones

On the documents we had to design them and promote the company's ( Fake )

Each design had to be different and they had to look like real advisements.

I liked this activity because I like designing things!

Term 2

Week 1 & 2

I was not here for the classes in week 1 and 2. 

Week 3

In week 3 we were working on columns.

We were arranging text on google docs and we were learning the columns tool.

Week 4 & 5

In week 4 and 5 we were trying out publisher! We made Calendars!

Week 6 & 8

In these few weeks we were working on Excel and we were working on graphs.

Week 9 & 10

In week 9 and 10 I have been working on making this for you all! I hope you enjoyed having a look at what I have been doing this semester! 

Overall ICT is really cool! If you are interested at the stuff I have been doing you should certainly have a go at it!
